We are now in the UN Decade of Restoration (2021-2030), which brings special attention to the urgent need to not only stop the degradation of our ecosystems but to go further, and restore them. The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration is a rallying call for the protection and revival of ecosystems all around the world, for the benefit of people and nature.
 
Ecosystems support all life on Earth. The healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet and its people. The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration aims to prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean. It will only succeed if everyone plays a part.
