Welcome
Hello and welcome.
This course is an introduction to Change Pathways Mapping. It is the first of three linked courses.
During the next few lessons, you will learn what a Change Pathways Map (CPM) is and why you might want to create one for your project or organisation.
You will be introduced to a free digital tool which can be used for making CPMs, so that we can explore some examples of real Change Pathways Maps produced by community permaculture projects working in Kenya, Nepal and Malawi.
By the end of this course, we hope that you will want to create your own Change Pathways Map. If so, you can take the next course in this series, in which you will learn how to use a free digital tool (called Kumu). The third course is a step-by-step guide to making your own Change Pathways Map in Kumu.
We hope that you will find the material clear and easy to follow, but if you have any questions or comments, please use our online community forum for the three Change Pathways Mapping courses.
Action Learning 1.1: Go to the forum right now, to introduce yourself on the Change Pathways General Discussion thread, and meet others who are taking this course. (click here to open the forum in a new tab)
At the end of the course, you will be invited to complete a short feedback form. We really value your feedback and will use it to improve this course and design future courses, so we hope you will help us by completing the form.
